I have been so sick the last two weeks complaining about "man flu".

This got me thinking.

We often joke about this: Why do men seem to struggle more while women handle life's challenges with grace? This is particularly evident when we talk about the infamous "man flu." Is there really a difference, or do women simply have a higher tolerance for pain, possibly because of childbirth? Or perhaps men tend to feel sorry for themselves more easily because women are usually busy taking care of everyone else in the household, leaving them with little time for self-pity.

It might sound simple, but there's an important lesson here. We need to understand why this happens. If it turns out that our suspicions are correct, then we don't have any good excuses, especially when it comes to the "man flu." It's time for us to toughen up, stop complaining, and take a good look at ourselves. We should ask, "Would the women in our lives complain the way we do?"

The answer is probably "no." That means we need to change, especially when it comes to the "man flu." We need to be stronger and more resilient, both inside and out. If we want women to respect us, we can't act tough on the outside and then act like we're on the verge of collapse at the slightest illness, claiming it's worse than anything women go through. Let's show integrity and strength. To do that, we must be courageous and confident, both in how we present ourselves and how we handle challenges.

This isn't just for the sake of getting recognition; it's our responsibility, particularly in the face of the "man flu." Even if we don't get anything in return, we should strive to be better men. In the end, we'll earn more love and respect, and we'll become the strong and resilient men we want to be, all while banishing the myth of the "man flu."

“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.” —Helen Keller

In your day be courageous, confident, and curious.
